Graphics Cards

CAD/CAM is one of the most graphically demanding of computer applications. The graphics card is therefore one of the most important elements to consider when designing your system, depending on individual budget. Whilst it is not possible for us to test every card from every manufacturer the following cards have all been thoroughly tested and are known be fully compatible with Delcam products.

Other graphic cards that are known to be compatible include:

nVIDIA Graphics cards
• Quadro FX 580, 1700, 1800, 3700, & 3800

AMD Graphics cards
• FirePRO v3800, v4800 & v5800

If you are considering a card that is not in this list, then you should test the card yourself before purchasing, bearing in mind that the lowest specification recommended would be the FirePRO v3800.

ATI Radeon cards are known to cause picking problems, and should not be used.
