The changes we're making

For Delcam products worldwide, we are phasing out perpetual licenses of our software. Our current Desktop Subscription offerings will continue to evolve with options that allow you to access multiple products and to share licenses as you do today with perpetual licensing.

If you purchase a perpetual license up through January 31st 2017, you will continue to own and have full usage rights for that license. If you are on maintenance for your perpetual license, you will receive software updates and corresponding benefits for as long as you continue to renew. You can renew your maintenance for as long as you want.

Monthly, quarterly, annual, and multi-year Desktop Subscription term lengths are currently available. Term lengths may vary by subscription access type or country.

Why we're making these changes

The way we design and build is changing rapidly, which also changes the tools we use and the ways companies and individuals buy and access software. By subscribing, you receive a simplified customer experience, lower upfront cost, and the ability to pay for Delcam products for the amount of time that is right for you.

Your subscription makes it easier to access your software and stay up-to-date. We will continue to offer the same choice of subscription options available today, with an eye toward tailoring these plans to the needs of individuals, teams, or enterprises in the future. Providing subscription offerings with flexible packaging and licensing options protects the value of your existing investment in our technologies and delivers a seamless path forward as we discontinue the sales of perpetual licenses.

Throughout this period, Delcam and our partners will work with you to make this transition from perpetual licenses to subscription-based offerings as smooth as possible, and to deal with exceptional situations accordingly. We will provide as much advance notice as we can, so that you can anticipate and plan for these changes.
