Delcam chooses New Orleans for 2013 ArtCAM User Group
Delcam will hold this year’s User Group meeting for its ArtCAM artistic CADCAM software at the Sheraton Hotel, New Orleans, from 22nd to 24th August. The extended format will mean more time to cover more types of project and material, so users can learn how to be more productive and profitable with their ArtCAM software.
Commenting on the decision to go back to national meeting format, Sean Plunkett, ArtCAM Sales Manager for North America, said "Over the last two years we have offered variations to the User Group format from multiple locations to online seminars in order to meet the needs of our very diverse customer base. While the feedback has been good on the quality of the content presented at these events, a lot of our users have told us that they missed the face-to-face interaction with Delcam’s engineers and developers, and with other users.”
The User Group will focus on information mainly applicable to ArtCAM Insignia, ArtCAM Pro and ArtCAM JewelSmith but will be beneficial and informative to everyone who uses and wants to learn more about their ArtCAM software.
As always each session and presentation will be packed with a combination of techniques, tips ‘n’ tricks, business benefits and new features, all aimed at helping delegates to be able to produce their work with greater speed, efficiency, accuracy and cost effectiveness. This is not a training class for complete beginners but will be beneficial to recent as well as seasoned users. Topics will cover options that users may not have known existed in the software as well as what’s coming out in the latest version, enhancing delegates existing skills so they can grow their businesses and be more profitable.
There will be some sessions and presentations with the entire group together but for the jewellers using ArtCAM JewelSmith there will be break out and separate sessions focusing specifically on the ArtCAM JewelSmith software. For these sessions, Delcam presenters will be joined by our partners Michael Buckley, John Stewart and Randy Hays, who will contribute to the ArtCAM JewelSmith sessions and presentations.
