• Which file formats can Delcam Exchange import and export? • How does the voucher system work? Delcam Exchange uses one voucher for each file you translate. Each voucher is unique, and will not work for any other input file. Before you can buy a voucher you will need to create a user account. This will happen automatically the first time you click the Export button on the toolbar. Delcam Exchange will guide you through the account setup process using a simple Wizard. After your account has been set up you will be asked to enter your credit card details using our secure server. As soon as the credit card transaction is complete, you can export the CAD data in whatever format you wish. When you have bought a voucher for a specific file, you may translate the same file as many times, and into as many different formats, as you wish. This lets you experiment with different settings to find the optimal format for your target CAD or CAM software.

• Can I still use Delcam Exchange if I do not have an Internet connection? If Delcam Exchange cannot connect to the Internet, it will give you the web address of the server, and display the unique code for the file you are translating. Use a separate computer that is connected to the Internet to log in to the server, and follow the on-screen instructions.

• Can I buy a full licence? You can purchase a full, unrestricted, licence of Delcam Exchange that will let you translate any format file any time you wish. You can also buy licences for individual translators; for example, you can purchase the CATIA™ Delcam Exchange licence, and then translate as many CATIA™ files as you need. • Is Delcam Exchange secure? Delcam Exchange is totally secure. Translations are carried out on your own computer, so data cannot be intercepted when files are uploaded to the Internet. We do not store your credit-card details, and will not share any personal information with any third parties. The security protocol between your browser and our voucher server is Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and all data is encrypted. • What next? 1. Click HERE to download the Delcam Exchange setup file. 2. Double-click the setup file and follow the on-screen instructions. 3. Run Delcam Exchange by double-clicking the desktop shortcut. 4. Click the Import button on the Delcam Exchange toolbar and select the file you want to read. Delcam Exchange will identify the file format automatically, and choose the most correct import settings. 5. Check the contents of the CAD file using Delcam Exchange’s easy-to-use graphical interface. 6. Click the Export button on the Delcam Exchange toolbar. 7. Choose the output format and filename. 8. Create your Delcam Exchange account (if you do not already have one). 9. Enter your credit card details to complete the export.
